The Debrecen Automotive Cluster has been established

The Debreceni Automotive Cluster is an association of ten founding members with the participation of Debrecen stakeholders in the automotive sector. The organisation aims to play a key role in promoting sustainable economic development in the city and the surrounding region.

László Papp announced the news on his Facebook page. “The initiative will serve as a strategic platform that will bring together the strengths of industry, research and education, fostering collaboration and innovation,” the Mayor highlighted.

“The organisation will play a key role in promoting sustainable economic development in the city and the surrounding region,” László Papp said. 

The main objective of the association is to bring together the forces of companies, research institutes, associations, associations, other organisations and initiatives active in the automotive sector in Debrecen in the form of a cluster, thus strengthening innovation and value creation in the economic life of Debrecen. 

The initiative aims to unite industry, research, and education to foster collaboration and innovation, fostering dialogue with the city’s leadership and Hungary’s government. It supports the creation, professional strengthening, and development of automotive businesses in the city and region, promoting economic revitalization, particularly in the automotive sector.
