The details were presented at a press conference held on the 4th of October 2023 by István Becsky, the municipal representative of the district, and László Tasó, a Member of Parliament.
István Becsky, the local government representative of the area, said that the asphalting of Kemény Zsigmond Street Phase III started a little over a month ago, adding: “I am pleased to announce that 230 metres of this section have been completed.”
He stressed that this improvement is of particular importance not only for residents but also for the families of children attending kindergarten. Residents and road users have previously indicated the need to renew the road and parking spaces, which has now been completed with municipal funds. The investment cost 42 million forints. István Becsky also said that asphalting works would start in the area on Cserei Street later this year.
MP László Tasó stressed the importance of local government representatives listening to the population’s requests and reaching a compromise on the needs. In the opinion of István Becsky MP, this work is very successful in his district.
The MP added that a number of developments have taken place in this area in recent years. These developments aim to make everyday life easier for the people living there.
As for the ongoing developments, László Tasó said that a significant investment is the renewal of the inland section of the 471 main road, which has already accommodated a number of residents’ needs.
He concluded by saying that they will continue to strive to meet the requests of the population with the highest quality and the shortest possible timeframe.
