The University of Debrecen has launched a public procurement for the construction of the internal road network of the UD Science, Technology and Innovation Park of the University of Debrecen.
The university’s industrial and innovation park on Vezér Street has been expanding in recent years, with the construction of the Innovation Centre, the pilot research laboratory, the SSC headquarters of Deutsche Telekom, the Thyssenkrupp factory, the National Manufacturing-Research-Innovation Central Plant, the vaccine factory and the vehicle laboratory.
The university also has other plans, including the construction of the Centre for Social Innovation in Sport and Music, the ” Hertelendi Ede Environmental Analysis Laboratory” Service and Development Centre, the UNIGREEN Park Centre and a functional food factory.
According to the tender documents published in the Official Journal of the European Union, the University of Debrecen aims to develop the infrastructure of the UD Science, Technology and Innovation Park area, including the construction of an internal road network.
The winning bidder will have to build almost a 7 meters wide, suitable for freight traffic one kilometer of dual carriageway, and 945 meters of combined footpath and cycle path, 3 meters wide.
Companies have to hand in their applications by the 4th of October. The winning company will have 8 months to complete the work.
