For the fifth year running, the beach is open to school leavers for a full day. The tradition started in 2020, and every year since then the city has provided free access to the bathing area for the graduates, with a variety of activities. This year’s graduates will be able to take advantage of this opportunity on the 10th of July 2024.
Graduating students from the city’s secondary schools were invited to the event. After pre-registration, they can enter the beach area of Aquaticum Debrecen free of charge on the designated day by showing their student ID card or ID card. As in previous years, the graduates’ day is organised in conjunction with programs specially announced for them.
The young people can take over the facility from 8.00 a.m. onwards, and then take part in several activities throughout the day. There will be a tournament for teams from 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. On the beach volleyball court, a balloon raffle from 2.00 p.m., a selfie ring 360 spinner from 3.00 p.m., face and body painting and a line-up competition. At 4.00 p.m. an extreme jumping competition will start. All day long, well-known DJs (such as DJ Jauri) will keep the party going.
Students can enter the beach area at the “B” ticket office on Nagyerdei Boulevard (the one closer to the roundabout).
