On September 30, 2023 (Saturday), fmilling will take place on the Kishegyesi Road – Segner Square from 06.30 a.m. until approximately 3 p.m. Further works are expected in the following days.

On the Tócóskert side, the outer straight lane next to the bus stop will be closed. The inner straight lane and the left turn lane will be kept open.

During the works, right turns from Kishegyesi Road to Segner Square, straight turns from Pesti Street and left turns from Kishegyesi Road will be ensured in one lane. During the construction works, traffic will be controlled by a traffic signal at the Segner Square – Kishegyesi Road junction.

From Monday, 2nd of October 2023 at 8.00 a.m. on the Tócóskert side, the section between Kishegyesi Road – Segner Square will be asphalted. After the asphalt has been laid, the lanes will be opened to traffic. Then the outer straight lane on the Tócókert side next to the bus stop will be asphalted from half of the outer right-turn lane of Kishegyesi Road.

During the work, right turns from Kishegyesi Road to Segner Square, straight ahead from Pesti Street and left turns from Kishegyesi Road will be guaranteed on one lane. On Segner Square, on the Tócóskert side, traffic will be guaranteed in the inner straight and left-turn lanes at all times. The affected DKV Zrt. trains will run on a diversionary route between 9.00 a.m. and 12.00 p.m.

On 3rd of October 2023 (Tuesday), from 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., the inner straight and left-turn lane on the Tócóskert Square side of Segner Square will be asphalted. 

During the construction work, the inner right-turn lane from Kishegyesi Road will be closed, left-turning onto Hatvan Street will be prohibited, and straight traffic will be allowed in one lane.

Drivers wishing to drive in the direction of Hatvan Street are requested to avoid this section of the road from the direction of Mester Street-Nagy Imre Street and Széchenyi Street-Tisza István Street to reduce congestion.
