The Turkish city of Antalya, located on the Mediterranean coast just outside the Aegean region, has been one of the most popular destinations for Hungarians for many years and will now also be available through Wizz Air.
The airline will add Istanbul and Antalya to its already diverse selection of destinations, the latter of which will be available not only from Budapest but also from Debrecen International Airport, the airline said.
The Debrecen-Antalya flights will start on 10th June, with flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Wizz Air currently offers scheduled flights to Paris, London, Cyprus, Eindhoven, and Tel Aviv from Debrecen, while Lufthansa flies to Munich. However, the Paris flight will be canceled at the end of February 2023.
In Wizz Air’s 2023 schedule, holiday flights include Corfu in Greece, Burgas in Bulgaria, and Palma de Mallorca in Spain. Flights to Burgas, Corfu, and Mallorca will resume in June.
