Wreath-laying ceremony to commemorate the execution of Imre Nagy and his fellow martyrs

The Municipality of Debrecen and the Hajdú-Bihar County are organising a wreath-laying ceremony on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the execution and the 34th anniversary of the reburial of Imre Nagy and his fellow martyrs. The event will take place on Thursday, the 15th of June, 2023.

2 p.m: Wreath-laying ceremony at the memorial plaque of Imre Nagy (Kossuth u. 12-14.) Speech by Mihály Csiszár, Vice President of the Imre Nagy Society of Hajdú-Bihar County

2:45 p.m:: Wreath-laying ceremony at the memorial plaque of József Szilágyi (Péterfia u. 1-7).

Those wishing to lay down a wreath, please apply until the 13th of June 2023 at rendezveny@ph.debrecen.hu.
