Folk dance inextricably intertwined generations, it knows no boundaries of geography or time. It is the transmission of knowledge that has ensured its survival in the past and is its future today. It was in this spirit that Kossuth Prize-winning choreographer and Merited Artist of the Republic of Hungary Zoltán Zsuráfszky invited seven of his exceptionally talented young colleagues to bring their innovative vision to the stage with the help of Hungary’s largest professional dance company.
These young choreographers can of course be seen at amateur dance festivals, but this is the first time they will be able to present their work to the public with a professional company.
