Korean Cultural Day

This year, Hangul Day is celebrated once again, and on this occasion, visitors are welcome to join the Korean Cultural Day programmes organised by the Debrecen Korean Cultural Association, with support from the King Sejong Institute in Debrecen and the Debrecen Summer University on the 12th  of October.

Participation in the event is free.

Important Information

On this day, there will be another event in the morning before the  Korean Cultural Day programmes, so the gates can be opened to visitors from 2:00 p.m. To ensure a smooth entry and a timely start, wristbands will be distributed from 1:00 p.m. in front of the building Lovarda.

Programmes

1:00 p.m. – Wristband distribution (outdoors)
2:00 p.m. – Gates open
2:30 p.m. – Welcome speeches
2:45 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Stage performances: K-pop cover dance, traditional music, traditional dances, vocal performance, choir, surprise guest
4:30 p.m . – 4:45 p.m. – Raffle 1
4:45 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. – Kimchi making demonstration
6:30 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. – Raffle  2
6:45 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Finale

Useful information

• Organisers  reserve the right to modify the program.
• Photos and videos will be taken during the event. By attending, participants consent to the use of their images on the social media platforms of the King Sejong Institute in Debrecen and the Debrecen Korean Cultural Association, with no time limit.
• Each participant will receive a numbered wristband, which will assist us in conducting the raffle draw.
