On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, Debrecen Zoo welcomes couples in love and animal lovers to its special Valentine’s Day exclusive programme, which offers not only unforgettable experiences, but also romantic relaxation and an unforgettable evening experience.
Now in its third year, the popular event offers visitors a special guided walk through the exciting nightlife and adventurous love lives of the zoo’s residents, while interactive activities and a culinary journey provide a unique and intimate experience.
Starting at 5:00 p.m. on the 14th and the 15th of February, visitors can find out, for example, who is the oldest couple in the park and still enjoying an intimate relationship, how African penguins choose their mate, who wears the pants at Capuchin monkeys’ house, and which species and how the keepers are preparing for the upcoming nuptials.
In addition, for the last time this season, participants can take a magical walk in the fabulously lit park of Debrecen Zoo, where a special play of the lights enhances the romantic atmosphere.
On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, the park also offers gift ideas for couples in lover, not only to please their partner, but also to support the noble cause of nature conservation, whether it’s annual passes, tickets, the symbolic adoption of a beloved, special resident or a romantic souvenir.
This program is exclusively for adults (18+), starting at the main entrance at 5:00 p.m. on both days and lasting until 9:00 p.m. During the tour, visitors will uncover secrets that they won’t hear anywhere else.
A limited number of tickets are available online in advance at HUF 11 990 per ticket. The ticket also includes admission to the breathtaking Garden of Lights exhibition!
