2.00 p.m. Performance by the Alföld Quartet entitled “Munkácsy tells a story”.
Alföld Quartet was formed in autumn 2012 in order to wildly perform the masterpieces of unfairly overshadowed chamber music. They aim to perform these pieces of music in music halls, churches, community centres of the South-East region and other parts of the country. Their work has been determined by high standard of music, proficiency, professionalism, sensitivity towards the musical and spiritual openness of their audience.Their repertoire includes important periods of music history, familiarity with secular and spiritual styles and genres, and high standard, entertaining music performances. The quartet won the Békés-County Prima Award of Musical Art in 2017.
