Between the 29th and the 3st of August, the University of Debrecen’s Böszörményi Road campus will host the 33rd Farmer Expo International Agricultural and Food Exhibition and the 19th Hortico Fruit and Vegetable Horticultural Exhibition.
Farmer Expo is the most effective agricultural and food industry exhibition in Eastern Hungary and is one of Hungary’s leading international agricultural and food industry trade fairs, where visitors can view the official breeding animal show and choose from a wide range of products from artisanal food exhibitors.
Accordingly, the exhibition will provide a forum for domestic and foreign companies, enterprises and organisations directly involved in agricultural production, as well as those related to and in partnership with this sector, to present their products and services.
The Farmer-Expo has been held annually since 1993 at the University of Debrecen Agricultural Science Centre. This comprehensive event includes professional forums for specific fields such as horticulture, livestock breeding, and more. The institution is renowned as one of the largest scientific agricultural and rural development centres in the country, offering a beautiful natural environment for attendees. The expo is also recognised as the official breeding animal show by the Association of Hungarian Livestock Breeders, featuring European-standard show judging for various animals.
