Batthyanyi Street Carnival

On the 9th of February the Debrecen Creative Community is waiting for visitors with colourful programs.

The members of the community are the shops and associations of Batthyány pedestrian street. 

Among others the Halloween street festival, the Spring Rhyme Festival and the Batthyány Latin dance evening can be associated with the community.

Program:

4.00 p.m. – 6 p.m.: Carnival with the ‘Kuflis’, Be a ‘Kufli’ – ‘Kufli’ tale and DIY workshop in Pagony Bookstore

4.00 p.m. – 6 p.m: Carnival handicrafts with Tímárház – Busó mask DIY activity in Deutsches Kulturforum Debrecen.

The workshop will be held in Hungarian and in English.

5.00 p.m. – 6 p.m: Zoo Test of Courage  with  Debrecen  Zoo – Getting to know different “I don’t like” animals in Deutsches Kulturforum Debrecen

5.00 p.m. – 5.15 p.m: The goat and its keeper –  Interactive authentic carnival game on Batthyány Street with the Vojtina Puppet Theatre

5.15 p.m. – 6 p.m.: Aquamanó Party: Masquerade Ball on Batthyány Street – Winter Farewell musical dance hall, costume parade, playful winter drive away and carnival goodies for all participants
