Concert of Győr Philharmonic Orchestra

Professionalism, innovative solutions and international standards characterize the work of the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra, which provides world-class professional quality to its partners, audience, soloists and guest conductors. The band’s performances were characterized by resounding success in almost all European countries, but on the most important music stages of Asia, in China, South Korea, and Taiwan, it also managed to win the recognition of both the profession and the audience. In the spring of 2009, the orchestra took part in a highly successful Far East and European tour with the legendary Italian film composer-conductor, Oscar winner Ennio Morricone. The Győr Philharmonic Orchestra’s rich repertoire covers not only classical and traditional works, but it can also combine lighter genres with its professional skills. It simultaneously fulfills the role of a traditional large orchestra, a crossover film orchestra, an outdoor or gala orchestra, a smaller or larger chamber orchestra and possibly a concert brass band.
