The Common City Festival is a unique opportunity to discover the impact that working for the community has on the life of our city. Learn about the work of our NGOs, meet like-minded people and experience the power of community in one day.
The event is free, but your registration at this site is appreciated by organisers in case you would like to attend.

“Smile Graden”
- With a card game visitors can learn how much oganisations are proud of and what successes they have achieved.
Come and join us!
- Visitors can get to know about the initiatives that make Debrecen a better place. Civil organisations will be waiting for visitors at their stands with varied programmes all afternoon. You can find a detailed description of the programmes in the online program booklet: here.
“See us”
- Discover the most exciting moments of the civil community at a special photo exhibition. Each organisation has brought their favorite pictures to show.
Round-table discussions
- About active participation and civil organisations.
Film Screenings
- If you like short films and inspiring stories, don’t miss this programme. Exciting videos will be shown all afternoon that show the diversity of civil life.
Children’s Activities
- The youngest ones will enjoy a field table, creative work, puzzles, and fun games.
We build on each other
- Support the organisations at the stands. After the donations, donors will receive houses from us, from which we will build the city that strengthens us together. Let’s build a Common City!
- Visitors are awaited with unique products, by purchasing which they can support the work of civil organisations.
