Free Gala Evening of Violinist Zoltán Mága in the Heart of Debrecen

Liszt-Ferenc Prize-winning violinist Zoltán Mága invites you on a special musical journey to Kossuth Square in Debrecen, where he will recall the defining moments of his career.

The charity gala, which starts on Saturday, the 1st of June at 7:00 p.m., will feature the world-famous violin virtuoso, as well as acting legends, internationally renowned opera singers and prominent artists from the Hungarian popular music scene.Among others, Gyula Bodrogi, Ági Voith, Sándor Csikos, Margit Bangó, Eszter Sümegi and Levente Molnár will be on stage. 

The violinist celebrated his 50th birthday in February this year, and to mark the occasion he has announced a series of “50 years 50 concerts” for 2024, which will take him all over the country. Recently, the musician celebrated his 50th birthday with a concert in the MVM Dome in Budapest, which attracted around 500 performers and contributors.

Zoltán Mága’s concert series also serves a charitable purpose, as part of his new charitable mission to help children in state care and disadvantaged situations, he has donated one million HUF to five foundations that support the recovery, development and future of children.
