Polish Painter’s Paintings on Display in German Cultural Forum

The exhibition, entitled Vanishing Landscape will open on the 5th of March Tuesday at 5.00  p.m. at the German Cultural Forum in Debrecen and can be visited until the 31st of March.

The artist wants to draw attention to the problem of disappearing green spaces and places untouched by human intervention. There are fewer and fewer of these places and are being squeezed out year by year by new investments, and there is a real risk that the landscape we have known until now will disappear.

Barbara Hubert was born in Rzeszów and attended the School of Fine Arts. She completed her higher education in the painting department at the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts, studying under professors Stanisław Rodziński and Leszek Misiak. She currently resides in her hometown of Rzeszów, where she is active as both an artist and educator.
