Women’s Day Concert of Debrecen Symphonic Band

The Debrecen Symphonic Band, the wind orchestra of the Debrecen University’s Faculty of Music, will perform a concert in honour of International Women’s Day as the next event of the Universitas-Debrecen concert series on the 7th of March from 7 p.m.

The Debrecen Symphonic Band is a wind orchestra that plays a significant role in training brass, woodwind, and percussion students at the University of Debrecen. The band’s main task is to support the conducting practice of students participating in the unique master’s program in conducting and wind orchestra at the University of Debrecen. The band’s repertoire includes historical Hungarian marches, contemporary Hungarian works, as well as notable international wind orchestra pieces and their arrangements.
