On the 14th of January, the screening of a special film is awaiting cinemagoers within the 14th “Mozinet” Film Days programmes. About the movie, "All We Imagine As Light" (16, subtitled French-Indian-Dutch film, 110 minutes, 2024): Prabha, in her thirties, works as a nurse in Mumbai. Although she has not spoken to her husband, who works in Germany, for years, doubts are plaguing her and preventing her from moving forward. Her roommate is Anu, who is younger than her, and despite her vain attempts to experience freedom with her lover, their religious differences make it difficult for their relationship to flourish. Leaving the big city and the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind, they travel to an island with their third female companion, the widow Parvaty, to face their greatest fears: grief, letting go, and acceptance. Director Payal Kapadia's magnificent work is the first Indian film to debut in the Cannes competition program in thirty years, and it also won the Grand Jury Prize.
