Aquaticum Spa Saturday

Aquaticum Debrecen SPA Nagyerdei park 1, Debrecen, Hungary

Aquaticum SPA is waiting for guests with long experiences on these Saturdays to enjoy the outdoor pool of the Thermal Bath until 11:00 p.m. under the foliage of the Great Forest and the starry sky. In addition, the Sauna World is also open, where sauna masters are offering fantastic infusions. The Thermal Café will be open all day. Two types of tickets can be bought  for the SPA Saturday event: Evening outdoor thermal ticket: 3000 HUF allowing the use of the thermal bath outdoor pool from 8:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.  Entrance to the Thermal Bath and Sauna World area is from 8:00 p.m. Evening outdoor thermal ticket with a sauna evening: 9,500 HUF, including: the use of the thermal bath outdoor pool (swimwear area) 3 sauna programmes in the master sauna (8:30 p.m., 9:15 p.m., 10:00 p.m.) 1 draining program in the stollen sauna (Banja) (10:45 p.m. ) skin care peeling 2 sauna sheets unlimited herbal tea and lemonade fruit bowl. “Musical Instrument into Hands ” at the Kölcsey Centre

The musical instruments and sound equipment that could be tried out in the program last visited the city in April 2022, having previously visited the city in 2018 and 2017. This time, the 90th "Musical Instrument into Hands" exhibition will be held at the Kölcsey Centre, where the instruments in seven sections will be on display between the 14th and the 16th of  January, on the 320th to 322nd exhibition days of the series. Guitars, bass guitars, keyboards, percussion, world music and folk instruments, as well as electronic music and studio equipment will once again be presented by experienced musicians. The exhibition will be opened by Deputy Mayor István Puskás Puskás on Tuesday, the 14th of January at 10.30 a.m., with speeches by Managing Director of Főnix Event Organiser Ltd., Zita Dobos and Director of Rocksuli Debrecen, Miklós Péter Balogh. The Best Dutch Short films to Watch also in Debrecen

Shortcutz Amsterdam, organised by the BuSho International Short Film Festival, will be held again this year, where interested parties can watch selected Dutch short films and vote for their favorite, as well as award the most popular short film with an audience award. Shortcutz Amsterdam presents the six Dutch short films nominated for the Best Short Film of the Year in an annual global tour, and this year the event will be held in Debrecen as well as Budapest. Churchyard Market on the 18th of January

A farmers' market with the widest range of products in the city, the Churchyard Market opens on the third Saturday of every month at 8.00 a.m. in the courtyard of the Debrecen Great Church Congregation Centre, at 2 Leány Street. The next time it opens its doors on the 18th of January. At the market local farmers and artisans sell their products at reasonable prices in the heart of the city centre offering smoked pork products, meats, cheeses, jams, vegetables, pickles, artisan gifts and much more.  At the first occasion of the year, visitors are invited to enjoy a traditional pig feast, and the donations received support the diaconal service. Classical Music Concert at the Reformed University Church

The National Philharmonic Orchestra will come to Debrecen on the 18th of January as part of the Philharmonia Hungary season at the Debrecen Reformed University Church. Come and be part of a truly great evening of music. This concert is also for lovers of emotions, dreams, human greatness and transcendence. Performers: National Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by György Vashegyi Programme: Mozart: Serenade in B flat major “Gran Partita” Massenet: The Virgin – The Virgin’s Last Dream Schönberg: Glorious Night About the music pieces: Mozart's Gran Partita is a large-scale serenade for wind instruments, showcasing emotion, fantasy, human grandeur, and transcendence. Known for its unique solutions and idioms, it's a bohemian, personal, and dignified concert that explores new waters and explores new musical forms. The Last Dream of the Virgin, a colorful and emotionally transcendent piece by Massenet, is performed in the second half of the concert. Originally an introduction to the Virgin Mary legend, it depicts the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and serves as a prelude to heaven. Schoenberg's Glorious Ego features strings and a poem by Richard Dehmel, depicting a passionate couple resolving issues like betrayal, childbirth, and repentance. Books Fair at Böszörményi Road Campus

After the highly successful visit in October, the Alexandra Publishing Company is arriving with books at incredibly favourable prices. In the course of the publishing work, a lot of books pass through hands; some specimens inevitably suffer minor or major defects. However, the perfect exterior is not everything: the inner values are the most important, especially in the case of books. At the books fair, more than 15000 different books, not only defective but books in perfect shape, can be bought at discount prices from 100 HUF. Aquaticum Thermal Spa awaits guests with live guitar music, draught beers, fried sausages and sauna programmes on the 25th of January.
