Local public transport company,  DKV PLC, has been serving passengers since 1884. On the occasion of its 140th anniversary, the company will open its doors and hold an open day on Sunday, the 29th of September at its premises on Salétrom Street.  The event is free of charge. In keeping with tradition, this year we will again organise the MagdaFest, named after Hungarian novelist, Magda Szabó, focusing on women artists and fates. The festival, created in honour of Magda Szabó, will be held for the seventh time in 2024. The event will focus on women's creativity, women's role in society, and women as artists. Within the festival programmes, the opera-operetta evening titled The Mysteries Of the Female Soul by Katalin Benedekffy is awaiting the audience on the 4th of october at 7.00 p.m. with guest performer Péter Balczó  and Szabolcs Sándor on piano.
