European Women’s Handball Championship

The 2024 EHF European Women’s Handball Championship marks a historic moment in the sport, being the inaugural tournament hosted in three countries, establishing itself as the largest women’s European Championship to date. This groundbreaking event unites three nations, each with distinct cultures, bound together by a shared passion for handball. The tournament's logo mirrors this unity, as the dynamic ball incorporates the colors of the three participating countries – red, white, and green.

CANCELLED -World Famous Organist’s Concert in Debrecen

2024 is Holocaust Memorial Year in Hungary. During the year, the Jewish Community of Debrecen organised several commemorations and events in this spirit. The highlight of the series of events will be a concert by world famous organist Xavér Varnus, and the Kodály Philharmonic Orchestra entitled "We remember and Remind" on the 25th of  November at 6.00 p.m. at the Csokonai National Theatre.  The event will feature violinist Gáspár Kelemen and conductor Dániel Somogyi-Tóth. 13th Debrecen Wine Tasting Event

Csokonai Fórum Csapó utca 30, Debrecen, Hungary

The 13th Debrecen Wine Tasting, Hungary's largest rural wine show, will take place on the last Saturday of November. This year, the high quality social event will take place in a new venue, the Csokonai Forum, the most modern theatre in the region and the country, providing the perfect atmosphere for tasting great wines. The wines will be opened several times throughout the evening, so that guests arriving later in the evening can taste the full range.There will also be a gastronomic corner, where many delicacies will be served to wine-tasting guests. A limited number of tickets will be sold again this year, as the excellent wines on offer require the intimacy and attention that can only be guaranteed by maximising the number of participants.  Two hours before the public opening of the event, exclusive access will be granted to guests who purchase VIP tickets. For this time slot, only 150 tickets will be sold, allowing the professional public and enthusiastic wine lovers to discover the wine regions in an even more comfortable and informal setting.
