Those who visit the Masters of Illusion show can be part of an unforgettable evening. The performers are regulars on international TV shows, prestigious festivals and cruise ships. After stages in Las Vegas, New York, Beijing, Dubai, Paris and Monte Carlo, they are now ready to enchant audiences in Debrecen. There's nothing like seeing the magic live. There are no camera tricks here: the incredible illusions are performed in front of the audience and with their participation. The show features Dávid Nagy Molnár, world championship silver medalist illusionist and master of large-scale illusions. The humorous side of illusion will be presented by Péter Boldog, eight-time national and two-time international champion magician. Writer and director of the TV series Abracadabra, the national professional director of David Copperfield's Project Magic programme, Botond Kelle will also appear on the show. The craft workshops of the House of Traditions offer a variety of activities, where visitors can get to know the natural materials of the crafts, original and reimagined craft techniques. The themes of the activities are designed to give both adults and children the joy of creating. The handicraft workshops will be held on the 22nd of November 2024 on behalf of the House of Traditions by the Folk Art Association of Debrecen and Hajdú-Bihar County and the Folk Art Association of Bihar.  During the day, visitors will have the opportunity to try out six folk craft techniques closely related to Debrecen and the various ethnographic regions of the county. These include bead weaving, gingerbread making and decorating, candle making, straw weaving, filter embroidery and traditional clothes (made of sheep wool) decoration making. Csokonai Theatre invites all their audience members to the guided tours of Csokonai Theatre. Following the completion of the renovation work in 2023, the theatre tours commenced immediately, offering insights not only into the building’s history but also into the restoration process.
