Wizz Air offers flights to five coastal cities from Debrecen, but charters are also available.
After Antalya in Turkey and Burgas in Bulgaria, Wizz Air’s holiday flight to Corfu started a few days ago.
The Bugas and Corfu flights will operate until September, while the Antalya flights until the end of October. There are three weekly flights to Burgas, two to Antalya and one to Corfu.
Two other coastal cities, Tel Aviv in Israel and Larnaca in Cyprus, are also available with Wizz Air, but these flights are non-seasonal and operate all year round.
“For many years, Larnaca in Cyprus has been a popular summer destination from Debrecen, but the island of Corfu has now the highest bookings from June to September,” the airline told the local newspaper, adding that it is a milestone that Antalya is available from Debrecen International Airport.
Wizz Air also offers flights to London and Eindhoven from Debrecen, while Lufthansa offers flights to Munich.
According to the airport, charter flights are also available from Debrecen to Antalya in Turkey and the island of Crete in Greece.
