“On behalf of the Ministry of National Economy (NGM), MGFÜ Public Non-profit Ltd. will organise the Night of Modern Factories for the eighth time, which will take place on the 8th of November 2024. As in previous years, the programme series of the Hungarian Economic Development Agency will offer the opportunity to gain experience through personal visits and to participate in online presentations,” NGM announced in its statement.
The main aim of the Modern Factories Night is to show how modern technology is transforming production and to bring visitors closer to the industrial processes defined by digitalisation and automation.
At one of the country’s most successful corporate events, participating companies can showcase the innovative, modern and unique solutions that contribute to the success of their business.
The event will offer free visits to a number of factories, where the latest technologies such as robotics, Industry 4.0 and sustainable production solutions will be showcased. Visitors will learn how modern production units work and how they contribute to the competitiveness of the Hungarian economy.
Secretary of State for SME Development and Technology at the Ministry of National Economy, Richárd Szabados said in the statement that “the Night of Modern Factories is a great opportunity to showcase manufacturing companies that contribute to our economic success through their digital solutions and modern technologies. The event not only provides visibility, but also creates an opportunity for networking for SMEs, potential suppliers and job seekers”.
The Modern Factories Night was launched in 2017 and since 2020 it has been available online and offline. Attendance is steadily increasing and the list of participating factories is growing. While 24 factories from 10 counties participated in the launch year, 92 factories from 17 counties joined last year.
This year, there will definitely be visits in Eger, Debrecen, Makó, Gödöllő and Budapest, but the organisers are still looking for applications from companies.
More information on joining and registration details are available on the official website of the Night of Modern Factories, where a list of participating factories and their presentations can also be found..
In Hajdú-Bihar, visitors are welcome at three places, in Debrecen at Schaeffler Debrecen Ltd. and Sensirion Hungary Ltd., and in Vámospércs, at Vámosgép Ltd.
