The Pediatric Clinic of the Clinical Center of the University of Debrecen is one hundred years old

On the occasion of the centenary, a scientific meeting was organized, at which lectures were given on new diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, among other things.

The Paediatric Clinic employs almost one hundred doctors, three hundred and 150 nurses and health professionals to provide a high level of care.

György Kossa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University’s Foundation, said in his welcome speech that they are working with the University’s leaders and the city to ensure that the Children’s Hospital in Debrecen will continue to be a stable institution for the next hundred years.

Mayor of Debrecen László Papp stressed that the staff’s professional and spiritual commitment and scientific dedication had made the clinic a nationally and internationally renowned institution.
