The Kodály Philharmonic Orchestra and the Kodály Choir will continue to perform the best of classical and modern masterpieces throughout the new season and this week, they are inviting the audience to a special musical journey in the 2024-25 season.

In addition to the permanent conductors, the Kodály Philharmonic Orchestra  will welcome internationally renowned and charismatic guest conductors such as Anton Shaburov, Gergely Madaras and Oksana Madarash, and the world-famous Alexander Sladkovsky for the third time. The National Philharmonic Orchestra, the Miskolc Symphony Orchestra, the Presidential Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Turkey and Concerto Budapest will be among the orchestras performing this season, as well as famous soloists such as Miklós Perényi, Dezső Ránki and Máté Szűcs.

The Kodály Choir will also welcome special guests in its series,  in November, the world-renowned Capella Savaria will perform on period instruments (Artistic director: Zsolt Kalló), and in March, the internationally renowned conductor Bernie Sherlock will join the choir, coming all the way from Ireland. The Academy Classics series will once again offer the audience a thrilling experience of chamber music conducted by permanent conductor Tibor Bényi.

From the 1st of July until the day of the first concert listed in the season tickets, you can buy and renew tickets at the Klassz Pont ticket office, the Kölcsey Centre ticket office or the Tourinform Office.
