Local services
Due to railway track renewal, maintenance and development works, passenger trains on some lines will run on a modified timetable, with replacement buses on some sections.
The timetable on the Budapest-Cegléd-Szolnok-Debrecen-Záhony line will be modified until the 18th of August due to track maintenance works on the Cegléd and Abony and Szajol-Kisújszállás-Karcag sections.
Schedule changes introduced
Changes affecting S21 trains to Lajosmizse
– The S21 trains will change their terminus in the capital, running only to and from Kőbánya-Kispest. To accommodate this, a relieving passenger train will depart daily from Nyugati station at 11:25 p.m. to Kőbánya-Kispest.
Changes to S50 trains
– S50 trains to the capital will run 10 minutes later and arrive at Nyugati station.
– The S50 train (2761) from Monor to Nyugati station at 8:36 p.m. will not run on the 18th of August.
Changes for trains Z50
– Trains Z50 to the capital will be delayed by 10 minutes and will arrive at Nyugati station.
– The Z50 (2649) train from Szolnok to Nyugati station at 5:25 a.m. will not run between Szolnok and Cegléd.
– The train Z50 (2659) from Szolnok to Nyugati station at 4:39 a.m. will depart 10 minutes earlier, the train Z50 (2669) from Szolnok to Nyugati station at 5:55 will depart 7 minutes earlier, but will arrive at Nyugati station according to the standard schedule
Changes affecting S225 trains
– S225 trains will run on a shorter route, only between Cegléd and Kecskemét.
– Due to maintenance work on the Szeged line on the 9th of August, S225 trains will not run between Cegléd and Kecskemét.
Changes affecting Cívis InterRegions
– Cívis InterRégio trains departing from Nyugati station hourly at 25 min will depart from Cegléd 1 minute earlier and will run according to the standard timetable from Szolnok.
– Cívis InterRégió trains from Szolnok will depart according to their original timetable, with a 12-minute delay from Abony to Debrecen. InterRegio trains to Nyugati station will depart after InterCity trains, arriving at Nyugati station 15 minutes later.
– The Cívis IR trains (6009, 6019) from Debrecen to Nyugati station departing at 2:39 a.m. and 3:34 a.m. from Szolnok will depart 2 minutes earlier and arrive at Nyugati station according to the standard timetable.
– The Cívis IR train (6029) departing from Debrecen to Nyugati station at 4:34 a.m. departs 15 minutes earlier from Debrecen and 18 minutes earlier from Szolnok, departing from Cegléd after a 10 minute delay, but arriving at Nyugati station as usual. The InterRegio train also stops at Ceglédbercel-Cserő, Albertirsa and Pilis.
Changes affecting long distance trains, Tokaj, Nyírség and Napfény IC trains
– Balaton diagonal trains will run almost according to the standard timetable, but the Aranypart (16706, 16707) and Szabolcsi express trains (16906, 16907) will not stop at Kőbánya-Kispest station. Train 16707 will run 4 minutes earlier from Debrecen and train 16907 from Szolnok.
– The Tokaj and Nyírség InterCity trains departing from Nyugati station at 8:00 p.m. from Szolnok will normally run 2 minutes later, from Debrecen according to the standard timetab
On the Debrecen-Nagykerek line, some trains will run on a modified timetable until the 14th of December. Some trains will be replaced by a replacement bus between Debrecen and Nagykereki.
The buses will depart from the railway stations in the affected settlements, except at Derecske-Vásártér, where they will stop at the bus stop at the corner of Konyári Road and Vágóhíd Street, and at Konyári Sóstófürdő, where they will stop at the Volán bus stop Messzelátó-Sóstó in Hosszúpályi.
