The challenges of Debrecen’s dynamic economic development in the labour market and labour law were also discussed at the Pannonjob HR conference. The 60 participants were also informed about current trends during the presentations. The temporary employment agency will soon open an office in Debrecen.
The one-day conference started with a presentation on the labour market and the domestic and international economic situation, including labour law updates and future prospects. According to Attila Molnár, head of Pannonjob, the strong economic development that is now taking place in Debrecen will challenge employers. The event also provided useful information and advice.
“We talked about how to recruit effectively, what are the techniques to find the best of the few workers, how to integrate those we can get into the labour market, and how to keep them afterwards, because I think these are the most important questions,” Attila Molnár. said.
Ákos Balázs, deputy mayor of the city of Debrecen, highlighted in his welcome speech at the conference,
“Debrecen is a knowledge-based city, and its citizens have always taken care to use and continuously develop local knowledge”.
“The people of Debrecen, the citizens of Debrecen, can unite on important issues, they can work together, and this is also extremely important from the point of view of the labour market. The city is constantly improving its educational institutions, the vocational training centre is doing the same, and the university is doing the same. This is very important, because careers start in the classroom, and this is how we can provide a vision for the future for the people of Debrecen, for those moving to Debrecen and for those living in the region,” Ákos Balázs said.
The sixty participants who attended the workshop also learned how to reach out to previously inactive people who have not worked in an industrial environment before.
