Balett screenings in Apollo Cinema

In  Apollo Theatre the audience can see Royal Ballet performances via live satellite replay screenings.

On 12th November from 3 p.m. Cervantes’ classic novel, Don Quixote can be seen.

The piece was created for the Royal Ballet a decade ago in which Carlos Acosta’s blood-filled choreography conjures us up the sunny, charming Spain, hand in hand with the characteristic Spanish design by visual designer, Tim Hatley.

In this 19th-century ballet full of witty and brilliant choreographic solutions, which was dreamed up to the dynamic score of Ludwig Minkus, the impressive virtuosity of the leading private dancers of the Royal Ballet can be seen.

Choreographer: Carlos Acosta after Marius Petipa, Composer: Ludwig Minkus
