Local services
On the 1st of May, it will be 66 years since Debrecen Zoo opened its gates, and to mark the occasion they invite visitors to join for a celebration. On the May Day celebration the Zoo will host activities for young and old, including zoo residents in action and 25 unlimited magic wristband attractions.
Programmes:
- music and dance performances
- concert by the Moonlight Band
- square music and a picnic
- children’s craft stall
- hourly sugar cane making and a giant puppet show by the Garagulya stilt company
- birthday exhibition of visitors’ photos from the past six and a half decades to give visitors a glimpse into the Park’s rich history.
On the 1st of May, the theme park can be visited with:
- a HUF 2,500 per person ticket
- or with a magic ticket for unlimited use of the amusement machines for HUF 5,800 per person
- Zoo tickets for the theme park are available at the normal price on site and online.
