Night of Museums Programmes on the 22nd of June

Debrecen institutions are preparing for the Night of the Museums together this year, and coordinating their programs. The Night of Museums programme series offers a lot of interesting and fascinating events, activities on the 22nd of June.

Programmes and locations:

Great Church (Kossuth Square 1)

4.00 p.m. “The world is waiting for us” – Film music performed by the Debrecen Garrison Orchestra

4.15 p.m. With colour and soul – opening of the exhibition of László Buka, painter and drawing teacher

5.00 p.m.  Unusual guided tour with Dr. László Papp, Mayor of Buda

During the evening, in commemoration of the 175th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, everyone can make and take with them a copy of the Declaration of Independence, with the help of Alföldi Nyomda PLC

and receives, since the Bánfalvy Studio is nationally renowned, and her “goals” are immeasurably important not only in sport, but also in the world of stage, film and acting.

8.00 p.m. – 9.00 p.m.“Passzolgató” – Service of the Dóczy Praise Orchestra and presentation of the poetry students, the Goal Pass as an inspiring theme for the rhyming students. Passing the melody and rhythm between music and literature on stage

Debrecen railway station

“The History of Railway Telecommunications” exhibition introduces visitors to various types of Morse telegraphs, teletypewriters, inductive (crank) and dial telephones, old and new railway telecommunications equipment. You can try out Morse code, induction and dial telephones in operation.

Maximum number of participants: 6 persons per tour, no prior registration required

Vojtina Puppet Theatre – Kossuth Street Playground (Kossuth Street 1)

Families are invited on a special adventure tour. During the evening, visitors can see around a hundred puppets and even hear the voice of Henrik Kemény. As part of the football theme, László Vitéz will play button football with the devils.

The wristband entitles you to view all exhibitions participating in the collaboration, and can be purchased online or at the locations.
