Forest May Day with Zsuzsi Narrow Gauge Railway

Zsuzsi Narrow Gauge Railway is celebrating the start of the season and the 142nd anniversary of “Zsuzsi’s” birth with a real family May Day party. 

Programmes, contributors:

• joint Maypole planting – each child will receive a colourful ribbon to decorate it 
• children will be given a colourful colouring book to decorate their tree 
• forest bird chirping tour and release of a cured bird with environmental educator Edit Varga 
• Folk music performance  with the Süveg Citera Circle 
• Interactive dog show with the Sansz Foundation 

10:15 a.m.Train departure from the starting station at 1 Ruyter Street
11:15 a.m. Arrival at Hármashegyalja
11:20 a.m. Start of the programmes
 3:00 p.m. Closing of the programme
 3:15 p.m. Train return to Debrecen

1 May timetable:
– Train departures from the starting station at Ruyter utca 1 to Hármashegyalja: 9.30 a.m.,  10.15 a.m., 2.00 p.m.
– Train return from Hármashegyalja to Debrecen: 12.30 p.m.,3.15 p.m., 4.30 p.m.
