As spring approaches, on the evening of Valentine's Day, the concert of the Debrecen Big Band  titled  ‘LOVE – Valentine's Day Swing’  will be held within the intimate walls of the Debrecen Reformed Great Church on the 13th of February from 7 p.m.  In addition to the usual performances from the Debrecen Big Band, which won the Csokonai award, several orchestrations were prepared for this concert, which will be interpreted by nationally known and successful performers. Star performers of the concert Singer and actress Réka Koós, who uses her skills in all kinds of musical styles.  She is a Junior Lyra award-winning performer.   She has played in In Germany, Austria and our country, she has played main roles in several musicals in Madách Theater. Péter Szolnoki is an Artisjus award-winning musician, singer, composer, arranger, singer and flutist of the Bon-Bon band. The versatile entertainer born in Debrecen has been  performing with the  Big Band in joint productions for 10 years. Tamás Vastag is a Phonogram award-winning singer and actor. At the event pianist Valentin Magyar will perform a work by Ludwig van Beethoven and Frédéric Chopin on Thursday,  on the 15th of February, at 7 p.m. in the Liszt Hall of the University of Debrecen's Faculty of Music. At the next performance of the Music-Matine series on Sunday, the 18th of February, at 4 p.m., at the Liszt Hall of the University of Debrecen's Faculty of Music, they are expecting the young and the old to a special journey into the world of classical music. This fun family programme is guaranteed to bring music to life for children and adults alike.
