Search for Nests of Birds of Prey

Heltai Gáspár Street Heltai Gáspár Street, Debrecen

In addition to the winter forest bird walk, the field programme of the Hortobágy National Park Directorate on the 25th of January will have the important aim of finding and registering nests of birds of prey, so the effectiveness will depend largely on the number of the group. Accurate mapping of nests of protected and/or highly protected birds of prey helps to ensure the success of conservation work and species protection activities. Visitors can also learn about the first nature reserve in the country and its wildlife. Participation is free of charge, but pre-registration is requested.
