Animals’ World Week
Nagyerdei park Nagyerdei park 12, Debrecen, HungarySince 1931, the World Animal Day has been held every year on October 4, the day of St. Francis of Assisi, who is also revered as the patron saint of animals. It has been a tradition for many years that on the occasion of this important day the Zoo is try to bring the many wonders of the living world closer to children's groups and families with guided tours and activities, and this year, within the Animal Protection Theme Week and the Great Forest Week, they are waiting for visitors with thematic programs for two weeks, between October 2 and 15 . Every weekday, kindergarteners and schoolchildren are invited to zoo pedagogy sessions and green craft sessions, for which registration is required at least 4 days in advance via the email address zooped@zoodebrecen.hu.
