Advent experience program, “Splash with Santa!” was held for large families in Debrecen

Through the cooperation of the Debrecen Charity Board, KKVJ Cement Ltd., DTG Cement Ltd., and other supporters, the charity program called “Splash with Santa!” enabled 67 families with 207 children—more than 300 people in total—from the Debrecen “Mosolyvirág” Association for Large Families to spend a pleasant day at the Aquaticum Mediterranean Indoor Aquapark on December 7, 2025.

The charity event “Splash with Santa!,” organized through the cooperation of the Debrecen Charity Board, KKVJ Cement Ltd., and DTG Cement Ltd., represents a special and innovative way to prepare for the Advent season.

Thanks to donations totaling HUF 1,000,000 and the support of the Aquaticum Mediterranean Indoor Aquapark, more than 300 members of the Debrecen “Mosolyvirág” Association for Large Families were able to take part in this extraordinary program, which is hoped to become a refreshing highlight of the Advent period.

Before the start of the program, Ádám Hajnal, representing KKVJ Cement Kft. and DTG Cement Kft., greeted the participants and thanked the Debrecen Charity Board and the Debrecen “Mosolyvirág” Association for Large Families for their organizing work, with whom they had collaborated in this form for the first time.  He noted that this marks their fourth major initiative in recent years, following earlier collaborations with the Hungarian Red Cross to provide cinema outings and playhouse programs for children. These events have gradually expanded to include gift-giving, thanks to other supporters—especially Vintage World. Ádám Hajnal also emphasized that they pay attention to raising awareness among their employees and their children about the importance of social responsibility and helping others with a generous heart.

According to Edit Bódor, president of the Debrecen Charity Board, it is a wonderful feeling to organize an Advent Sunday program where families can spend time together and enjoy pleasant experiences. The Board hopes that this special event and the gift packages will help participating families and their children to step out of everyday life for a while and spiritually tune in to the holiday.

On Sunday, families were able to enjoy the services of the Aquaticum Mediterranean Indoor Aquapark for four hours, after which donor companies—Nádudvari Élelmiszer Ltd., Vintage World, and Marnevall Plc.—provided gifts.
