The Municipality of Debrecen has been providing back-to-school support to Debrecen families for years.

The city is currently undergoing several road renovation and construction projects to ensure comfortable and safe transport for residents.

The 42nd Hungarian Press Photo Exhibition can be seen at Baltazár Dezső Square until the 8th of September 2024.

A new teacher training system will be introduced from 2025, which will be free of charge and available online. A pilot programme will also be launched from this year.

Students of the Debrecen School District Centre won more than 300 international, 1135 national and 915 county competitions last year alone. 

Kossuth Square will once again be the venue for world competitions. 

Debrecen will continue to pay special attention to transport development in 2024. Major road renovation and construction works in the city aim to ensure comfortable and safe transport.
