Debrecen free parking registration for 2026 is open

For 2026, a one‑time registration is required for those who wish to park free near their homes, use their fully electric cars in the green zone without charge, or purchase a season ticket.

DV Parking has opened online registration for free residential parking, free parking for electric cars (green zone), and paid season ticket purchases for 2026.

As stated on the company’s website, residents must complete a one‑time registration for 2026 if they wish to park free of charge near their homes or with their green‑plated, fully electric cars in the green zone. Registration is also required for monthly, quarterly, half‑yearly, and annual passes.

Registrations for electric cars completed by July 1, 2025, will expire on December 31, 2025. Registrations made after this date, as well as approved free residential parking registrations, will remain valid until the end of February next year.

Free residential parking in Debrecen

From January 1, 2025, Debrecen residents can park free of charge near their permanent residence. This requires registration and applies to two persons and two vehicles per address (two passenger cars, or one car and one motorcycle, or two motorcycles). Free parking is available on surface parking spaces located on the street listed on the resident’s address card, as well as the first intersecting or parallel streets.

Free parking for electric cars in the green zone 

Residents of Debrecen with permanent addresses who own or operate fully electric vehicles classified in environmental category 5E can continue to park free of charge in the green zone. Registration, as in previous years, is available on DV Parking’s website. The registration site is accessible here.

Registration for paid season tickets

Registration is also required for purchasing season tickets. The purchased pass is valid only for the specific vehicle license plate registered at the time of purchase. If personal data or vehicle registration details have changed since a previous registration, users must re‑register on the company’s website.
