This year, Zoo Debrecen is organizing this special bird-friendly family event for the eighth time.

Chirpy Family Day aims to bring the world of Hungary’s native birds closer to visitors through interactive experiences, allowing all age groups to gain insight into the behavior and conservation of birds that overwinter locally.

During the all-day event, visitors to Zoo Debrecen can take part in the following programs:

• Bird feeder refilling
• Bird ringing
• Owl pellet examination
• Professional presentations
• Interactive games
• Arts and crafts creative corner
