Visitors, families, and friends are warmly invited to attend the November programs of DEMKI Tannery House (Tímárház) – Folk Craft Creative House.

On November 15, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the St. Martin’s Day Folk Art Fair and Craft Show will offer a vibrant celebration of traditional crafts and local artistry.

That same afternoon, at 2:00 p.m., the exhibition Family Intertwining will open, featuring the creative works of the Petrovics family from Balmazújváros.

About DEMKI Tannery House:

DEMKI Tannery House is  Debrecen’s only preserved industrial heritage site at its original location, built in the early 1900s. It serves as a regional folk craft center, preserving and promoting traditional Hungarian craftsmanship through exhibitions, workshops, and educational programs.

Visitors can explore historic trades like tanning, try working with natural materials, and discover the cultural richness of Hungarian folk art.

DEMKI Tannery House offers a welcoming space to learn and create.
