Borbarát Bar Gallery Bajcsy-Zsilinszky utca 4., Debrecen, Hungary

The gallery of the Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Street wine bar, Egri Borozó in the heart of the city is hosting a new exhibition. At the invitation of the art-loving owner, István Kovács, Roland Szabó has brought his works. Roland Szabó started to work with photography in 2011, later he was more and more attracted to the creation of images, to the rewriting of the scenery, so he soon ended up with oil painting.  “I feel that by painting I can be more free. I like to smell the aromas of paint and thinner, the grooves in the weave of the canvas, the brush or knife and the lacquered wood frame ... and I can shape/shape the image I see depending on my mood," he explained. As he says, realism is close to him, he often copies paintings by old masters, but he also likes the plein air world. Roland Szabó's exhibition “In Search of Lights “ (Hungarian: Fényeket keresve) was opened by Sándor Dobránszky on Thursday the 12th of  September at 6:00 p.m. in Egri Borozó, with Krisztián Szabó on classical guitar.    Date: from 12 September Location: Egri Borozó Source:dehir.hu
