Family Days Across Debrecen This Weekend
Despite the unpredictable autumn weather, Debrecen is embracing one of the season’s last sunny weekends with a series of vibrant Family Day events across the city, offering a wonderful opportunity for families to connect, celebrate, and enjoy the spirit of community.
Highlights Include:
- On Saturday, from 2:30 p.m., there will be an autumn welcome event at the DEMKI Ondód Community Centre in Debrecen-Ondód (61/c Kádár dűlő, Debrecen 4002), including a dance hall, a magic show, a retro disco and a street ball.
- Similar programs, an art exhibition, crafts and a folk playground will also await those who would like to welcome autumn with the Kismacs Community Center (16 Esőcsepp Street, Debrecen 4002)
- From 3:00 p.m., dance awaits at Liget Square (Debrecen 4033) as a musical children’s show, a dance house, various dance groups, a retro party and a dog agility demonstration will also be part of the program.
- The Homokkert Community Center (68 Szabó Kálmán Street, Debrecen 4030) is celebrating its 20th birthday with a family day, where dancing and preserving traditions are given great emphasis. But in addition to the playful programs for children, sports lovers will also benefit if they choose the community center’s event on Saturday!
