From Monday, the traffic order will change at the intersection of Hétvezér – Budai Nagy Antal streets

Traffic changes are expected in the area of Vámospércsi Road from July 28, 2025. As part of the developments under the Ministry of Construction and Transport’s investment, a section of Budai Nagy Antal utca will be closed, affecting public transport. The local government asks for the residents’ patience and cooperation during the work.

As part of the Ministry of Construction and Transport’s investment, the first phase of the capacity expansion development of Vámospércsi Road, the complex transformation of the Hétvezér–Budai Nagy Antal utca junction, began at the end of May. As part of the construction works, the track of the Zsuzsi Forest Railway will be rebuilt, which the contractor will carry out during the school holidays between July 28 and August 29, 2025.

Due to the reconstruction, a section of Budai Nagy Antal Street, approximately 60 metres long, from Ruyter Street to Budai Nagy Antal Street, will be closed to traffic. In parallel, major utility replacement and road construction works will also be carried out. During the closure, DKV Zrt. buses will operate towards Ruyter Street, and a temporary bus stop will be set up.

During the construction period, temporary traffic restrictions and diversions should be expected on the affected road section. 

Motorists are kindly asked not to drive out of habit but rather to take into account the temporary road signs posted; using navigation or shared car apps to plan the optimal route is also recommended.
