Hunép and DSZC joinlty train students
EThe eight selected students will visit several sites within the framework of the dual training programme jointly developed by Hunép and the Debrecen Vocational Training Centre (DSZC).
According to the young people, this opportunity will also be a great help in the long run for further education and employment. “I can only recommend it, because it’s different on the spot than when you sit in a classroom and study there,” one student Dorina Varga said.
Sándor Szilágyi, Director General of DSZC, stressed at the briefing that it is important to bring the education of the professions close to the corporate training. “Students learn the modern design technologies that today’s industry and architecture require. Because building a structure alone is not enough, you also have to furnish it, and students will also learn the latest technologies in building engineering,” he said.
CEO of Hunép Miklós Bakos, pointed out that the students who do their internships at their company can easily get the desire to continue their careers there as well. “Students can gain experience here because we can participate in projects that can provide them significant professional experience,” Miklós Bakos pointed out.

The construction industry in Debrecen has great potential
Mayor of Debrecen László Papp stressed that the measure of a city’s development is the functioning of its construction industry. In Debrecen, this sector offers a great perspective for the students. “The construction industry in Debrecen has great potential. If we examine the areas of the city park and the industrial parks, more than a million square metres of factories and job-creating investments are being built right now,” the mayor pointed out.
Since 2015, the number of young people studying at the Debrecen Vocational Training Centre has increased by almost 5,000, and now exceeds 12,000.
