Key update on county passes

At his Thursday forum in Hajdúszoboszló, Minister of Construction and Transport János Lázár made several announcements affecting Hajdú‑Bihar residents.

Shortly after stating that construction of the 20‑kilometer four‑lane road between Debrecen and Hajdúszoboszló could soon begin with an investment of HUF 60 billion, the Minister of Construction and Transport also shared important news about the county pass, affecting many people.

He announced that Hajdú‑Bihar county pass will soon be accepted on the Debrecen public transport system, and vice versa: Debrecen city passes will be valid on MÁV trains and Volán buses.

According to the minister, this measure will be officially announced in Debrecen in the near future.
