Trans-Sped’s corporate social responsibility programme focuses on supporting the next generation of professionals, working closely with educational institutions and building the image of the industry. In this spirit, Trans-Sped joined this year the Logistics Days programme series coordinated by the Hungarian Logistics Supply and Stockholding Association.
On April 10, at the Logistics Festival, which has now become a tradition, Trans-Sped personally welcomed those interested in the logistics profession at the company headquarters, where nearly 300 people could enjoy the professional morning combined with the festival atmosphere. Students from the Debrecen Vocational Training Centre Irinyi János Technical School, the Debrecen Vocational Training Centre Brassai Sámuel Technical School, Kratochvil Károly Honvéd Secondary School and Dormitory, the Kisvárda Training Centre Kandó Kálmán Technical School and Dr. Béres József Dormitory, the University of Debrecen, and the University of Nyíregyháza gained a deeper insight into the daily operations of Trans-Sped and behind the scenes of logistics processes during the experience-rich, interactive morning.
The primary aim of the event was to give young people a comprehensive overview of the world of logistics and its career opportunities, with games of skill and a festival atmosphere. The programme included warehouse tours, professional presentations, demonstrations of various transport equipment and visits from several departments and partner institutions.
The participants had the opportunity to meet representatives of the Digital Transformation Directorate, to learn about e-commerce robotised services and the activities of Trans-Sped customs, air, sea and rail freight forwarding departments. The National Tax and Customs Office of Hajdú-Bihar County and the Debrecen International Airport were also present. Visitors also had the opportunity to visit the Trans-Sped Museum, which presents the 35-year history of the company.
“At Trans-Sped, I believe it is important to provide the next generation with an inspiring environment where they can not only learn about the dynamically evolving opportunities in logistics, but also gain first-hand practical experience and important market information in a relaxed atmosphere. This will allow them to experience first-hand what it means to build a career in the logistics sector,” Founder, Warehouse Construction and Operations Director of Trans-Sped, Zsolt Fülöp said.
In addition to Trans-Sped’s headquarters in Debrecen, the Days of Logistics event series also offered exciting programmes in Tata and Nagytarca, giving young people the opportunity to get in direct contact with prominent representatives of the profession and to put their theoretical knowledge into practice.
