One of the world’s top DJs is set to launch the 2026 Campus Festival

Ranked 5th on the DJ Top 100 list and boasting more than 10 billion streams across social media, the producer behind the global hit “Blah Blah Blah” is coming to Debrecen.

Armin van Buuren has been announced as the first performer of the 2026 Campus Festival. According to the organizers, he will appear on the Metal-Sheet Main Stage on July 24 at 11:15 p.m.

The Dutch DJ and producer burst onto the trance scene in the late 1990s with his first releases. He soon founded Armada Music, which became one of the genre’s leading labels. In 2001, he launched the radio show A State of Trance, now followed by millions worldwide and serving as a central platform for the global trance community.

His international breakthrough came with anthems such as Communication and This Is What It Feels Like. He has been voted the world’s best DJ multiple times and regularly performs at the biggest festivals.

Music experts note that he constantly seeks new sounds while staying true to the uplifting, emotional essence of trance. His work has played a major role in making electronic music a globally popular genre.
