Pavement subsidence repair is underway on Egyetem Sugárút

At the junction of Füredi Road and Egyetem Sugárút in Debrecen, a slight pavement subsidence has been detected at the end of the left‑turn lane on the Egyetem Sugárút branch from the direction of the city center.

To investigate the fault, on Monday, December 8, 2025, after the morning rush hour, the left‑turn lane was closed. During the works, left turns toward Füredi Road are provided from the inner straight lane.

The pavement repair and reopening of the left‑turn lane to traffic is expected to take place on Thursday morning, December 11, but the contractor is making every effort to complete it sooner if possible.

Drivers are kindly requested to follow the signs of the temporary traffic arrangement introduced at the junction and, if possible, avoid the affected traffic branch.
