Pipeline damage causes traffic restrictions at the Kartács–Móricz junction

Partial traffic restrictions are expected at the busy intersection during the restoration.

Due to a malfunction in the public drinking water main pipeline, Debreceni Vízmű Zrt. (Debrecen Waterworks Ltd.) will carry out troubleshooting work at the intersection of Kartács Street and Móricz Zsigmond Street on Friday, December 12, in the early hours of the morning, at 4:00 a.m.

Partial traffic restrictions are expected at the busy intersection during the restoration. The repair work is obstructing traffic on Móricz Zsigmond Street, so traffic will be diverted to the oncoming lane. Debreceni Vízmű Zrt. asks motorists to drive with extra care and to follow the posted signs.

The works and the final restoration are expected to be completed by December 19. The company said they will do everything they can to ensure that traffic returns to normal as soon as possible.
